Refunds
How refunds work.
Effective October 16, 2026
Event registrations
Every event on The Perch is run by its host, and the host sets its refund policy. You’ll see it on the event page before you register.
- · If you cancel. Cancel from the event page and any refund the policy allows goes back to your card automatically: a full refund up to the host’s cutoff, and the host’s chosen percentage after it. If the event has no refund window, ask the host. Add-ons the host marked non-refundable aren’t included.
- · If the host cancels the event. Every registration paid by card is refunded in full, automatically, including add-ons bought with it.
- · Anything else. A host can refund all or part of your entry at any time from their roster.
- · Groups. If you paid for a group, refunds for those seats come back to you, including when a seat you paid for is released.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with. Your bank usually shows them within 5 to 10 business days.
Perch’s registration fee
Whenever a registration is refunded, Perch’s registration fee is refunded with it, in proportion to the refund: all of it on a full refund, half of it on a half refund. Perch Golf LLC doesn’t keep a fee on money that goes back. Stripe’s card processing fees aren’t returned by Stripe, so hosts bear those.
League fees
If you leave a league far enough before the season starts (the league shows its cutoff, 7 days unless the league sets another), your season fee is refunded automatically. After that, or if a league is cancelled, ask the league’s organizer.
Donations, auctions and sponsorships
A donation made on its own goes to the cause and is final. A donation added to your registration is refunded with that registration. A sponsorship paid by card is refunded in full if the host cancels the event; otherwise ask the host. Winning auction bids aren’t refunded automatically, even if the event is cancelled; ask the host. If you made a mistake (wrong amount, wrong event), email us within 7 days and we’ll work with the host to fix it.
Subscriptions
- · Perch Prime and host plans bought on the web can be cancelled any time in Settings > Account. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and your plan stays on through the period you already paid for. We don’t prorate partial periods or refund past periods, but if a renewal just went through and you meant to cancel, email us within 7 days and we’ll refund that renewal.
- · Host plan trials: cancel before the 30-day trial ends and you’re never charged.
- · Our guarantee. If Perch can’t score your event, that month of your host plan is on us. Email us within 30 days of the event and we’ll refund that month’s charge.
- · Subscriptions bought in the iPhone app are billed by Apple, and only Apple can refund them. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Before you dispute a charge
Please ask the host first; they control the money for their event. If you can’t reach them, or something here doesn’t cover your situation, email hello@perchgolf.com. A person reads it.
